Manchester United is looking to secure a deal for Leicester City’s Louis Page, according to BBC Sport.
However, United will face competition from Arsenal and Aston Villa, both of whom are keen on signing the young talent.
Page, son of former professional footballer Don Page, has made a name for himself with standout performances in Leicester’s youth teams.
He was awarded the club’s Academy Player of the Season at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season.
At just 18 years old, he made his competitive debut against Huddersfield Town in the League Cup last August.
He has appeared in 21 matches for the Foxes, including five starts in the previous season.
Primarily a central midfielder, Page is versatile enough to play in both defensive and attacking roles.
United recently signed 18-year-old Tynan Thompson from Tottenham Hotspur for £8 million, and they’ve also welcomed Cristian Orozco from Colombian club Fortaleza FC.
Now, they are focused on acquiring Page, who Leicester has labeled as “one of the brightest talents in our system.”
United is in search of a third midfielder after bringing in Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos.
While Page is seen as a promising prospect for the future, the club is also looking to sign an experienced first-team player before the summer transfer window closes.
