Marseille Players…

As reported by Foot Mercato, Bob Tahri, the sporting coordinator for Marseille, is accused of serving as a “facilitator” for private gatherings that involved players from Olympique de Marseille and “female companions” during training camps.

The reports indicate such events occurred during Marseille’s trips to Marbella and Rome, where some players viewed Tahri as a go-to person for organizing social outings away from their training commitments.

However, Foot Mercato notes that Tahri’s relationship with the team has since soured significantly, with multiple players allegedly alleging that he was engaging in a “double game” behind the scenes.

The allegations suggest that some Marseille players grew suspicious of Tahri, believing he was attempting to undermine them internally, which fostered distrust within the team. Tensions escalated to the point where certain players reportedly ceased acknowledging Tahri at La Commanderie.

These latest accusations come as scrutiny intensifies regarding the internal atmosphere at Marseille. Earlier this week, L’Équipe reported that an anonymous group of OM employees had submitted a complaint to club management, accusing Tahri of fostering a toxic work environment characterized by paranoia and intimidation.

In response, Marseille has confirmed that the club’s HR department is conducting an internal investigation into the allegations.

Tahri has denied any wrongdoing, asserting that the accusations are tarnishing his reputation without substantiation.
