Gleison Bremer and Weston McKennie expressed their admiration for Luciano Spalletti following Juventus’ impressive 4-1 victory over Parma. Bremer remarked, ‘He’s one of a kind; I’ve never worked with a coach like him in my career.’
The Bianconeri are solidifying their position in the race for a top-four finish, aided by Como and Atalanta playing to a goalless draw earlier today.
In a dominant performance at Stadio Tardini, Juventus showcased their talent with a rare brace from Bremer, an acrobatic finish from McKennie, and a tap-in from Jonathan David at the back post.
Interestingly, Parma’s only goal came from Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso, who inadvertently turned Alessandro Circati’s cross into his own net.
Bremer and McKennie Praise Spalletti
“It feels amazing to score goals, especially after being out for almost a year, which was tough for me. I feel good now, my leg is responding well, and I’m just glad to contribute to the team’s success. Ultimately, what matters is that we won,” Bremer shared with DAZN Italia.
Since Spalletti’s arrival, the team has transformed, amassing 30 Serie A points, second only to Inter’s 37 during the same timeframe.
“The coach is exceptional; you can see he’s completely shifted our style of play. Even after victories, he keeps pushing us to improve. We know we still have areas to work on, but we’re making progress,” Bremer continued.
“This is undoubtedly the best Juventus spirit I’ve experienced. I felt a similar positivity at the start under Motta, but then I got injured.”
“Spalletti has brought a new mentality, and you can truly see the difference he makes,” Bremer concluded.
In their last two Serie A matches, Juventus have scored a remarkable seven goals, including a 3-0 triumph over Napoli last week, though they managed only a dull 0-0 draw away to AS Monaco in the Champions League midweek.
McKennie celebrated his goals with two distinct routines; one involved shaking hands with all his teammates, while the other was a coordinated shuffle in a line.
“We practice those wall celebrations in training, so that’s what inspired my celebration today,” McKennie explained to DAZN Italia.
“Spalletti is exceptional; I’ve never experienced a coach quite like him in my career. He fosters a strong team spirit, and I’m genuinely happy to be working under him. Everyone here appreciates his leadership.”
