The talented winger has recently extended his contract, ensuring he will stay at Brandywell until the conclusion of the 2028 season.

Under the management of Tiernan Lynch, Derry City finished the league in second place, just three points shy of champions Shamrock Rovers.

Duffy began his career at Brandywell before transferring to Celtic in 2015, where he also had loan spells with various Scottish clubs.

After a stint at Dundalk, the 31-year-old returned to Derry City in 2022. Since rejoining, he has been instrumental for the team, scoring 27 goals to date in his red and white kit.

Additionally, Derry’s goalkeeper Brian Maher received recognition by being included in the First Division’s Team of the Year alongside Duffy.
