MILAN FUTUROS CAMPAIGN…

MILAN FUTUROS CAMPAIGN…

A fiercely contested match marked the end of the season for Coach Oddo’s Milan Futuro, concluding with a score of 2-1 in favor of Chievo against Verona, after a rigorous 120 minutes. The victory was crucial for advancing to the play-off Final, and the outcome was uncertain until the very last moment when Costantino’s penalty secured the win and Chievo’s spot in the next round. Our team had numerous opportunities but fell short in execution. After D. Costa’s initial goal, Sardo netted the equalizer, having previously struck the crossbar during the match.

Among the many positives to reflect on from this match and the season overall, the team’s bravery and commitment to play their style of football stand out. They held their own against more seasoned opponents. This season was notable for the debut of many players from our youth academy, who made significant contributions when called upon. The play-off Final will feature Casatese Merate against Chievo Verona. A big round of applause for the Milan Futuro squad.
