Milan Holds Steady on Leao…

Super agent Jorge Mendes visited Casa Milan for extensive discussions lasting over six hours on Wednesday, according to reports from Italy. However, there hasn’t been any update from Milan regarding the asking price for winger Rafael Leao, who remains valued at €50 million.

Milan is actively seeking a buyer for Leao, who has been with the club for seven years and was part of the squad that secured their last Scudetto in the 2021-22 season.

Leao had expressed a desire to explore a new opportunity abroad after the disappointing 2025-26 season, but as the transfer window progresses, a departure from San Siro has yet to occur.

Meanwhile, Jorge Mendes spent several hours at Milan’s headquarters on Wednesday afternoon and evening, finalizing details of a deal for Diego Moreira, whose signing was confirmed last night.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the negotiations for Moreira took longer than expected, possibly explaining Mendes’ extended presence at Casa Milan.

It has also been reported that Milan is collaborating with Mendes to facilitate Leao’s sale. This partnership has seen successful collaborations on numerous transfers in recent years, including those of Moreira, Goncalo Ramos, and Joao Felix.

La Gazzetta dello Sport notes that Mendes is actively seeking an offer that meets Milan’s demands. The Rossoneri are still targeting a €50 million fee for Leao, and the latest reports indicate that Galatasaray has come closest to that asking price, though their offer is slightly above €40 million.
