Newcastle United has announced that defender Kieran Trippier will depart the club at the conclusion of the current season.
The 35-year-old, who made his move to St James’ Park from Atletico Madrid in 2022, will conclude his four-and-a-half-year tenure when his contract expires.

Since joining the team, Trippier has been an integral part of Eddie Howe’s squad, racking up a total of 157 appearances, including 18 in the Premier League this season.
“It’s a heartfelt moment for me, and I will truly miss it,” Trippier stated. “I want to extend a huge thank you to the supporters for their unwavering support, both during the happy and challenging times. You have always stood by me.”
