Nice players faced physical assault from their own fans after a disheartening 3-1 loss to Lorient on Sunday.
The Eagles are struggling with a significant crisis, having lost six consecutive matches, which has led them to drop to 10th place in Ligue 1. They are also at the bottom of the Europa League standings.

The situation escalated after the defeat, with around 400 supporters gathering at the club’s training facility.
As reported by ESPN, two fans managed to board the team bus to voice their frustrations.
The angry supporters directed their wrath at Jeremie Boga, Terem Moffi, and the club’s sporting director, Florian Maurice.
Boga and Moffi were reportedly punched, spat at, and verbally abused, leading to them being granted leave from the team following the incident.
Both players went to the local police on Monday to file charges against the aggressors.
Boga had previously upset fans by inviting Marseille supporters into the Allianz Riviera last month, and later issued an apology via Instagram, clarifying that he had no intention of disrespecting Nice fans.
Moffi faced backlash after being seen laughing and joking with members of Lorient’s management following the defeat.
Maurice also faced aggression, despite the presence of security personnel at the scene.
