Lazio has announced the reinstatement of Fisayo Dele-Bashiru to their Serie A squad. However, the move comes at the cost of full-back Elseid Hysaj, who is now ineligible to compete for the Biancocelesti in the league.
Official: Dele-Bashiru Returns to Lazio’s Serie A Squad
Dele-Bashiru had sustained an injury to his right leg’s bicep femoris muscle during the Derby della Capitale against Roma back in September. After realizing he would be sidelined for several months, Lazio opted to remove him from their Serie A roster and replace him with Toma Basic.

Initially, there was speculation that Lazio would delay their decision regarding Dele-Bashiru’s reinstatement, and the possibility of him moving away from the Stadio Olimpico was still on the table.
For the time being, Dele-Bashiru is eligible to play in the league, but it remains uncertain whether his future will be with Lazio or elsewhere.
