In partnership with Shoot Music, OneFootball is featuring a weekly interview series with artists who share a passion for football.
This week, we’re chatting with singer and fan of Manchester City, Felix Green.
When did you start supporting Manchester City, and what influenced your choice?
I’ve supported Manchester City for as long as I can remember. My family didn’t have a specific football team, so my siblings and I were drawn to them through my godfather, and I owe that connection to him!

What stands out as your favorite childhood memory supporting Man City?
Without a doubt, the last match of the 2012 season. AGUEROOO! We were all gathered together, but half the group left the room in frustration, only to rush back in when we erupted in celebration after that final goal.
Do you think Pep will depart over the summer, and if so, who would you like to see take his place?
I believe it would be tough for him to walk away after such a rollercoaster season. However, if he does leave, I’m a big admirer of Xabi Alonso. And like many City fans, I’d love to see [Vincent] Kompany take over in a couple of years.
Would just securing the FA Cup be considered a successful season this year?
Given that many expected this to be a “rebuilding season” and considering our shaky start, winning a trophy would definitely be a success. The fact that we’re still chasing Arsenal as we head into the final two matches of the Premier League shows our quality hasn’t diminished this season.

What are your predictions for the FA Cup final?
Chelsea hasn’t seemed comfortable in their games lately, and with our current momentum and players like [Jérémy] Doku stepping up, I’m expecting a solid win, maybe 3-1!
