Parma Signs Cremaschi from…

Parma is reportedly poised to trigger their €4 million option to buy USMNT prospect Benja Cremaschi from Inter Miami.

The talented midfielder, who turned 21 in March, arrived in Serie A on loan last summer with an option for a permanent transfer.

Earlier reports suggested that the option was valued at €4.5 million, but transfer guru Fabrizio Romano asserts that the actual cost will be around €4 million.

Injury Hindered Cremaschi’s Progress

Cremaschi made a total of nine appearances in his time with Parma, across Serie A and the Coppa Italia, with three of them being starts.

He suffered a meniscus injury in March, sidelining him for the remainder of the season.

Despite his injury setbacks, Cremaschi has earned three senior appearances for the USMNT, making his debut in September 2023.

His performances have seemingly impressed Parma’s coach, Carlos Cuesta, who is willing to provide him with more playing opportunities in his upcoming second Serie A season.
