A visibly upset Pedro Porro was seen engaging in a heated exchange with teammate Lucas Bergvall before leaving the pitch in frustration after Tottenham’s 2-1 home defeat to Fulham in the Premier League.
The Spurs players were met with boos from the crowd after suffering their fourth defeat in six league games. Additionally, some fans expressed their discontent towards goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, whose mistake gave Fulham a two-goal lead within six minutes.

Porro appeared angry with Bergvall’s decision to applaud the Tottenham fans post-match. The right-back could be seen yelling Bergvall’s name as the 19-year-old made his way around the pitch to thank the supporters who remained.
Instead of acknowledging the fans, Porro headed straight for the tunnel, even removing his shirt as he walked off.
This incident follows a similar situation involving Tottenham players Micky van de Ven and Djed Spence, who disregarded manager Thomas Frank’s directions to applaud the fans following their home loss to Chelsea, though the two later apologized.
While Frank commented that he did not witness Porro’s reaction at full-time, he remarked, “We are in a tough spell right now, and my players must remain as calm as possible to work through it.”

Frank also expressed concern over the home supporters who booed Vicario during the match, stating that such behavior is not indicative of true fans and hoping it won’t happen again during his time at the club.
“I didn’t appreciate our fans booing him, especially right after he touched the ball,” Frank noted. “They can’t be true Tottenham fans, as everyone should support each other on the pitch.
“We all strive for good performances. Afterwards, if they want to boo, that’s fine. But doing it during the match is unacceptable in my opinion. Their frustration is understandable since we haven’t won at home in a while.
“We all want to win desperately, so I am okay with booing after the game, but during the match, I hope this was just a one-time incident and that it doesn’t occur again.”

Tottenham has yet to secure a win in a home Premier League match since their season opener against newly promoted Burnley, and they have now lost 10 league matches at home this year under both Frank and former manager Ange Postecoglou.
