Port Vale vs Bristol City…

The FA Cup fourth-round match between Port Vale and Bristol City, scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The playing surface at Vale Park was already compromised by heavy rainfall on Tuesday, which resulted in a defeat against Stockport County in the EFL Trophy.

A pitch inspection conducted on Friday confirmed that the field was unplayable.

The match between League One’s Port Vale and Championship side Bristol City has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 3, at 19:45 GMT.

In addition, Hartlepool United’s National League fixture against Sutton United, also set for 15:00 on Saturday, has been called off.

A new date for that match at Prestige Group Stadium will be announced in due course.

Currently, Hartlepool sits ninth in the league standings, while Sutton occupies the 20th spot, narrowly avoiding the relegation zone on goal difference.
