PSG Eye Maghnes Akliouche…

Premier League clubs are showing interest in AS Monaco forward Maghnes Akliouche (24), but they may face competition from Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report from L’Équipe. The European champions see the French international as a possible successor to Lee Kang-in.

Akliouche is anticipated to leave his long-time club Monaco this summer. Over the weekend, L’Équipe reported that Liverpool has ramped up their interest in the forward and may be inclined to make a €50 million offer.

Manchester City has been tracking him for some time, and their interest could resurface this off-season. However, PSG is also likely to be in the mix. Atletico Madrid expressed interest in Lee last summer. They were deterred by PSG then, but if they return with their interest this summer, the South Korean player could be on his way out.

If Lee does depart, Akliouche is viewed as the intended replacement. Despite having a contract with the Principality club until 2028, a move away appears likely for the French talent.
