Reports indicate that the Portuguese international is among the three signings that Florentino Perez hopes to secure once the presidential elections conclude.

Joao Neves Stays Committed to PSG

However, Neves has quashed any rumors regarding a potential transfer to Real Madrid, expressing his desire to stay with PSG for the next season despite the speculation.

After PSG’s recent Champions League victory against Arsenal last weekend, Neves affirmed his position.

“I want to continue playing with this incredible group of players here at PSG,” stated Neves, as reported by Defensa Central.

While such statements are expected after a trophy win, Neves appeared genuinely enthusiastic about remaining with a squad that has consistently achieved great success.

“We are a cohesive team, I’m truly happy, and I want to keep relishing these experiences with them,” he added.

Looking ahead to the coming season, Neves made it clear that his aim is to defend PSG’s European title.

“We must defend the title again next year,” Neves affirmed.

Real Madrid Exploring Other Options

While Joao Neves has been a focal point in recent discussions, he is not the only midfielder rumored to be on Real Madrid’s radar.

The Spanish giants are also linked to two other significant targets: Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea and Rodri from Manchester City.

Fernandez’s situation at Chelsea is reportedly precarious, and the Argentine midfielder is reportedly interested in a transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Regarding Rodri, Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme recently stated he could facilitate the Spaniard’s signing; however, sources close to the player have denied that any agreement has been made.
