The forward has faced numerous injury challenges and has struggled with form for both his club and country in recent months, an issue that persisted during the tournament where the USA hosted Canada and Mexico.
Pulisic limped off during the Round of 16 loss to Belgium, losing 4-1, leading to immediate concerns about a serious injury.

Recent reports from both American and Italian sources indicate that Pulisic has been diagnosed with bone bruising and a microfracture in his tibia/fibula.
He was seen on crutches the following day at the team hotel, raising concerns about a potentially prolonged recovery.
However, sources from The Athletic and Calciomercato have reassured fans that Pulisic’s absence could last from three to six weeks.
This timeframe may allow him to return to training in time for the start of the new Serie A season on August 23, when Milan is set to kick off the tournament against Torino.
The former Chelsea player scored 10 goals and provided four assists in 34 competitive matches for Milan last season, though he notably did not score in 2026.
His last goal for the club came in a 3-0 victory over Verona on December 28, and he has not found the back of the net in the subsequent 19 matches.
