Rangnick Unveils Vision…

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ralf Rangnick, the coach of the Austrian national team, is seeking full control to revamp the technical structure at AC Milan, including the selection of a new head coach. However, he is only open to considering such a move to San Siro after the World Cup.

Rangnick is a leading candidate for the Head of Technical Area position at Milan following the dismissal of coach Massimiliano Allegri and the ousting of several top executives, including Igli Tare, Giorgio Furlani, and Geoffrey Moncada.

Latest Updates on Rangnick’s Potential Move to Milan

After missing out on Champions League qualification, the Rossoneri are set for a fresh start, and Rangnick’s name has resurfaced as a top target. He almost became their head coach back in 2019.

As reported by Gazzetta, Rangnick recently held a meeting with Milan owner Gerry Cardinale and RedBird executives, including Senior Advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic, in Vienna, where he elaborated on his vision for the role and his preferred timeline for a potential appointment.

Rangnick has made it clear that his commitment to Milan would only commence after the World Cup, during which time Austria will face Jordan, Argentina, and Algeria in Group J.

The 67-year-old reportedly wants to implement his full vision at Milanello, including selecting the next head coach and appointing key scouts.

Cardinale and Ibrahimovic are conducting their evaluations and expect to reach a decision on Rangnick shortly, aiming to avoid adding pressure on the Austrian coach as he prepares for the World Cup.

In response to inquiries about Milan during a charity event on Wednesday, Rangnick commented, “Everyone likely noticed that something unusual happened at Milan over the weekend,” as reported by Gazzetta.
