Recent reports indicate that Real Madrid and Fulham have come to an agreement regarding the transfer of Gonzalo Garcia. Interestingly, this is not the only arrangement made between the two clubs involving a talent from La Fabrica.
Gonzalo is set to join Fulham at Craven Cottage, with the Premier League side investing €40 million for 70% of his economic rights from Real Madrid.

According to MARCA, another young talent, Cesar Palacios, has also been sold to Fulham.
€8-10 million for 70% Rights
Similar to the Gonzalo deal, Real Madrid has chosen not to sell full ownership of the promising La Fabrica product.
As a result, a fee of between €8-10 million has been agreed for 70% of Palacios’ rights between the two clubs.

Arbeloa Plays a Key Role Again
Palacios had a remarkable season in 2025/26, scoring 16 goals and providing five assists, making him the second-highest scorer in Group 1 of Spain’s RFEF Primera Division and earning his first-team debut.

However, similar to Gonzalo, the winger felt that this summer marked the right moment to depart from Castilla and embark on the next chapter of his career.
The 21-year-old had previously been expected to join Como, having engaged in advanced discussions with them. Nevertheless, Fulham’s late involvement, spearheaded by Alvaro Arbeloa, shifted the dynamics entirely.
