Real Madrid’s extensive spending this summer is poised to significantly impact some of the club’s current players.
One unexpected casualty is Endrick. After returning from a productive loan stint at Lyon, the Brazilian forward now finds himself on the outskirts of the squad at Real Madrid.
Jose Mourinho appears uninterested in utilizing him for the upcoming season, as he already has a wealth of talent at his disposal, including Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., Yan Diomande, and Rodrygo.

As reported by Diario AS, Endrick is now seriously contemplating another loan move, especially after the signing of Carlos Espi. Mourinho has left the decision to the player, who is aware of his current position in the squad hierarchy.
While Mourinho views Endrick more as a center forward than a right winger—his role at Lyon—he does recognize that the Brazilian lacks the conventional traits of a classic striker. This places Endrick as the third choice in attack, behind Mbappe and Espi, with the right wing becoming even more crowded following Diomande’s addition, alongside Brahim Diaz, Bernardo Silva, and a returning Rodrygo all vying for playing time.

If Endrick decides to leave, he has a clear preference: he aims for a club competing in Europe, particularly the Champions League, where he hopes to secure a starting position as a number nine.
This opportunity was exactly what Lyon provided, leading to a successful spell where he netted eight goals and assisted seven times in 21 appearances during his short stay in France.
Currently, both Roma and Aston Villa have made inquiries, and both have fulfilled the criteria Endrick has set for a potential transfer.
A loan arrangement could also be beneficial for Real Madrid, who want to safeguard their substantial investment. The club is reluctant to let Endrick’s value decrease, especially after investing nearly €80 million in him since acquiring him from Palmeiras.
To facilitate a potential move, Real Madrid is even contemplating covering a portion of his salary, which amounts to over €5 million net annually, similar to the agreement made with Fiorentina for Franco Mastantuono. For now, the decision lies with Endrick.
