Real Madrid player poised…

Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe is among the most prominent figures in football, often sought after for brand partnerships. Recently, he completed his stint with the French national team at the World Cup, where France finished fourth, and has since been enjoying his holiday. Mbappe is set to return to first-team training tomorrow.

In a significant off-field development, the French forward is ending his long-standing partnership with Nike. French journalist Thibaud Vezirian reported (via Mundo Deportivo) that as of July 31, Mbappe stopped wearing the American sportswear brand and is on the verge of inking a highly profitable deal with an unexpected company.

Having been with Nike since he was eight years old, this split marks the conclusion of one of the longest commercial relationships of his career. Throughout his time with Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain, the French national team, and now Real Madrid, Nike has been closely connected to his image. The upcoming change is significant, especially considering his status as one of the most marketable footballers globally.

Surprising New Brand Likely to Partner with Mbappe

Vezirian indicates that Mbappe’s next sponsorship will likely not stem from major football brands like Adidas, Puma, or Under Armour. He stated, “Everything is moving very quickly for an ‘unexpected’ brand to become Kylian Mbappe’s equipment supplier.”

“The agreement is being finalized. It represents a significant shift.”

Vezirian has also suggested that another football star may be involved, as this company aims to make a substantial entrance into the football scene with premium boots.

Partnership Could Extend Beyond Traditional Sponsorship

What makes this development particularly intriguing is the potential structure of Mbappe’s new deal. “Kylian Mbappe will undoubtedly gain from having his own brand and a stake in the company,” Vezirian revealed.

If realized, this arrangement would surpass a typical sponsorship deal. For Mbappe, it could afford him greater commercial leverage and long-term financial prospects, while the mystery brand would instantly align with one of the most recognizable names in football.

While this shift may not immediately affect Los Blancos, it certainly involves one of their key figures. All eyes are on Mbappe as he is set to transition to a new sponsor, with curiosity surrounding the identity of the brand.
