This substantial investment follows Diomande’s impressive rookie season in the Bundesliga, where he tallied 12 goals and eight assists in 35 matches for RB Leipzig.

His value further surged after solid performances for the Ivory Coast during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he created 11 scoring chances in four games before the team was eliminated.

The transfer is expected to progress rapidly, as the player was omitted from RB Leipzig’s preseason match against SC Verl and will not join the squad for their training camp in Austria.
