Liverpool faces a challenge on the right wing.
Recently, shocking news emerged that Mohamed Salah will depart the club at the end of the season, and unfortunately for the Premier League champions, they won’t be receiving a transfer fee for the 33-year-old.

Salah is set to leave on a free transfer after the club agreed to terminate his contract, which was originally supposed to last until 2027. This marks the end of an era for the Anfield side as they prepare to say farewell to a true club legend, leaving a gap for a starting right winger.
Liverpool has been linked with several players, including Bradley Barcola, Yan Diomande, and Michael Olise, with recent reports also highlighting interest in Francisco Conceicao.
The 23-year-old Juventus winger is contracted until 2030 and is reported to have a price tag of around £56m according to Italian sources.
Liverpool Interested in Francisco Conceicao
A specialist in one-on-one situations, the Portugal international could provide Arne Slot with the quality missing from the flanks with Cody Gakpo and Salah.

While there is room for improvement in his finishing, Conceicao is undeniably a dribble master who can put defenders under pressure and create opportunities for his teammates.
The feasibility of this transfer remains uncertain, but Liverpool has the chance to make the deal more appealing.
Juventus has shown interest in acquiring Federico Chiesa in January. The 28-year-old moved to Liverpool from the Bianconeri in 2024, but his tenure at Anfield has not been particularly successful.
Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti is keen to bring the winger back, but they opted out of the deal due to financial constraints.

Federico Chiesa May Return to Juventus
Given the combination of the transfer fee and Chiesa’s £150,000 per week salary, Juventus was not prepared to finance the deal. However, if Liverpool strategically navigate this situation, they could offload Chiesa while bringing in Conceicao.
With Chiesa’s market value around £12m, including him in the deal would lessen the initial financial burden, making it more likely for Juventus to cover his wages without a hefty upfront payment.
While player swap deals have become increasingly rare, the components of this scenario align well. Liverpool could potentially send approximately £45m along with Federico Chiesa to Juventus in exchange for Francisco Conceicao.
This swift winger could take over Chiesa’s salary, creating a favorable outcome for the Premier League champions.
