Roma is grappling with its own set of issues, as Paulo Dybala, Manu Kone, Artem Dovbyk, Evan Ferguson, and Stephan El Shaarawy have all been left behind in the capital.

Matias Soulé is also dealing with a recurring groin injury, paving the way for January signing Zaragoza to make his first start, joining Lorenzo Pellegrini to bolster Malen’s attack.

The striker on loan from Aston Villa has had an impressive start in Serie A, scoring three goals in his first four matches, including both goals in their 2-0 victory over Cagliari, which ended a three-match winless streak across all competitions.

Nicolò Pisilli has been chosen over Neil El Aynaoui for the midfield, as Mario Hermoso is not yet fully fit to feature in defense.
