The Football Association has charged Portsmouth and Southampton following a mass altercation during Sunday’s south coast derby.
The incident occurred in the 69th minute of the 1-1 Championship match at Fratton Park.

Tempers flared when Flynn Downes and Zak Swanson confronted each other following a strong challenge by Saints midfielder Downes.
Both clubs face charges for failing to ensure that their players refrained from engaging in improper and/or provocative conduct.
Portsmouth and Southampton have until Friday to respond to the charges.
