Liverpool’s players received significant acclaim following their victory over Real Madrid, with one player receiving special recognition from the Spanish media.
On Tuesday, Liverpool secured a crucial 1-0 win against Real Madrid at Anfield, delivering a stellar performance throughout the match. They could have won by a larger margin if it weren’t for Thibaut Courtois’s series of outstanding saves.

This victory was exactly what the Reds needed, especially given their poor form leading up to the international break. They demonstrated that they are capable of defeating any opponent.
More significantly, Liverpool proved they could dominate the game, controlling play in nearly every aspect throughout the match.
Arne Slot’s strategic masterclass gave his team the upper hand, with the players executing their roles to perfection. It was their individual performances that ultimately led Liverpool to victory.
This commendable performance did not go unnoticed in Spain, as Marca singled out one player in particular: Conor Bradley.
Conor Bradley Recognized
Marca published a feature highlighting Bradley after the match, dubbing him Real Madrid’s ‘kryptonite’. The right-back has showcased his talent in two consecutive games against Los Blancos, following his impressive performance last season.
This game, however, showcased a more all-around performance. Bradley excelled in all aspects, whether it was containing Vinicius Jr. in one-on-one situations or carrying the ball forward to relieve pressure.
Real Madrid struggled to handle him. According to Marca, he ‘consumed’ Vinicius, characterizing the Brazilian as a ‘victim’ as Bradley made three tackles, won eight duels, and achieved seven recoveries.
This recognition is especially significant considering that Bradley secured his position in the lineup due to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s transfer to Real Madrid. Alexander-Arnold faced boos from fans upon his return as a second-half substitute, while Bradley was celebrated as potentially the best player on the pitch.
Currently, it appears that Liverpool has not suffered from this transition. While they undeniably miss aspects of Alexander-Arnold’s contributions, they have discovered qualities in Bradley that could make him a key player in crucial matches.
