Tottenham defender Djed Spence has arrived in Italy ahead of his anticipated transfer to Inter Milan, which is expected to be for at least £25.6 million (30 million euros).
Upon his arrival, he was overheard saying “Forza Inter” while being captured on camera by Sky Sport Italy in Milan early Friday morning.

Spence had a standout World Cup performance with the England team and made 32 appearances for Spurs during the 2025-26 season. However, competition for his position increased with first-choice right-back Pedro Porro signing a new contract in June, while left-back Andy Robertson joined from Liverpool.
In July, Tottenham manager Roberto de Zerbi expressed his desire to persuade Spence to remain at the club.
Spence, 26, transferred to Spurs for an initial fee of £12.5 million from Middlesbrough in 2022, accumulating 85 appearances with the club, including winning the Europa League in 2025.
This will mark Spence’s second stint in Italy, having previously spent six months on loan at Genoa in 2024.
