Tottenham managed to avoid relegation from the Premier League on the last day of the 2025-26 season.
They secured their survival with a 1-0 home victory against Everton. Tottenham entered the match knowing that only a loss would put them at risk of relegation, especially if West Ham were to beat Leeds. While West Ham did win 3-0, a crucial goal from João Palhinha in the 42nd minute ensured Tottenham’s safety throughout the final matchday.
This North London club faced the threat of a prominent relegation for much of a challenging season.
Thomas Frank started the season as manager but was dismissed and replaced by Igor Tudor, whose brief tenure did not result in improved results.
However, under Roberto De Zerbi, Tottenham has achieved enough to retain their Premier League status for the next season, leaving West Ham to drop down to the Championship.
