Nottingham Forest has started anew under head coach Oliver Glasner, embarking on a three-game unbeaten streak in their pre-season matches.
The Reds began with a 2-0 victory over local rivals Notts County, followed by a solid 3-0 win against Championship outfit Blackburn, and they ended with a 1-1 draw against Vitoria de Guimaraes in a closed-door friendly.

After struggling to score in 14 Premier League matches last season, compared to just eight games in 2024-25, these recent scorelines indicate a positive trend in their goalscoring abilities ahead of the new season.
Chris Wood was notably absent last season due to a knee injury that sidelined him for six months. He had excelled in 2024-25, netting 20 goals in 36 Premier League appearances, which was 13 more than any other Forest player.
However, fellow strikers Igor Jesus, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Arnaud Kalimuendo have taken the initiative during the pre-season.
These three have distributed the goals among themselves, with Jesus scoring in all three matches, Kalimuendo tallying two goals, and Awoniyi also finding the net against Blackburn.

Wood remains the only senior striker yet to feature on the scoresheet, having joined pre-season later due to his participation with New Zealand at the World Cup.
