Tait departs amazing…

Dylan Tait has expressed that joining “a massive club” like Dundee United was a pivotal move for his career after parting ways with “an amazing team” at Falkirk.

The 24-year-old midfielder noted that there was “interest in me from elsewhere” as his contract with Falkirk came to an end, where the team had finished just one spot above Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.

“I enjoyed a couple of good seasons at Falkirk and had a great time there,” Tait shared in an interview with Dundee United’s YouTube channel.

“I can’t speak highly enough of Falkirk; they have been fantastic for me, and I’m thrilled to be at Dundee United now.”

“The team I played for was wonderful, and we faced Dundee United a few times last season, so I’m aware of the challenge ahead.”

“I’m eager to contribute to the success of this team.”

Before his time at Falkirk, Tait played for Raith Rovers, Hibernian, Kilmarnock, Arbroath, and Hamilton Academical.

“At my age, I’ve gained a lot of experiences, both positive and negative, and I believe I can support the younger players on the team,” he remarked.

“I already knew [right-back] Miller Thomson from my time at Falkirk, so he helped me feel welcomed, and having a friend on the team makes a difference.”
