The Premier League has announced the shortlists for its monthly awards, featuring three nominees from Arsenal across four different categories.

David Raya is up for both Player of the Month and Save of the Month, thanks to an impressive March for the Gunners’ goalkeeper.
Raya maintained two clean sheets and allowed only one goal (an own goal by Piero Hincapie) in Arsenal’s matchups, making crucial saves to secure three important victories for his team.

It’s no surprise that Raya is also nominated for Save of the Month following his remarkable save against Chelsea.
With just seconds left in the match, he made a crucial dive to thwart Alejandro Garnacho’s cross-turned-shot and succeeded in redirecting the ball to safety.

Mikel Arteta has also been nominated for the Manager of the Month award for March, thanks to Arsenal winning all three of their matches, keeping them at the top of the Premier League table.
Arteta’s competition includes Eddie Howe from Newcastle United (two wins, one loss), Fabian Hurzeler from Brighton (three wins, one loss), Regis Le Bris from Sunderland (two wins, one loss), and David Moyes from Everton (two wins, one loss).
Although Arteta’s team boasts the best record, it remains uncertain if voters will favor managers with slightly lesser records from lower-ranked teams.

Lastly, Riccardo Calafiori has been recognized with a nomination for the Premier League’s Creative Moment of the Month award, for his clever block that denied Everton’s Dwight McNeil a goal during Arsenal’s recent 2-0 victory.
Calafiori showcased remarkable ingenuity to make that stop, and you can participate in the voting for this category here.
