Barcelona is gearing up to face Levante today, with a prime chance to regain the top position in the league after Real Madrid’s loss to Osasuna on Saturday.
Following two consecutive defeats, Barcelona is determined to secure a victory and claim all three points this weekend.

However, the team must exercise caution, as three of their players are at risk of suspension ahead of their crucial match against Villarreal.
Three Barcelona Players Face Suspension Risk
The players in question are Frenkie de Jong, Jules Kounde, and Gerard Martin. Each of them currently has four yellow cards, meaning they could be sidelined for the next match if they receive a booking against Levante.
This could impact their availability for the Villarreal clash, a significant fixture for Barcelona’s title ambitions.

De Jong has been a crucial part of Barcelona’s midfield. With Pedri making his return, De Jong’s performances are expected to improve as well.
Kounde has consistently fortified the right-back position. Although Hansi Flick has Joao Cancelo as an alternative, he would ideally prefer to have Kounde in that role for the Villarreal match.
Gerard Martin, the final player at risk, has shown impressive form at center-back in recent weeks.
His presence has been valuable as a rotation option in central defence, and losing him could hinder the Blaugrana. Thus, he too will need to exercise caution during this match.
Fortunately for Barcelona, the team appears to have suitable alternatives prepared if suspensions occur ahead of the Villarreal match.
