Locatelli has been consistently performing well under Spalletti, which has surprised some, considering the coach did not select him for the Italy squad for the 2024 Euros.

“The coach has communicated openly with me, and I’ve made myself available. He’s an exceptional coach with a lot to offer. I needed to improve during the Euros year,” Locatelli concluded.

“Now, I’m happy and feeling good, and ultimately, winning is what matters the most.”
