Recent reports suggested that Arsenal made an approach to sign Tonali on transfer deadline day; however, Riso clarified that Newcastle was not interested in selling the Italian talent.

“Newcastle are reluctant to part with Sandro, as he aims to lead the club to Champions League success,” Riso stated. “We will hold transfer talks later on and will assess our options at the end of the season.”

Interest in Tonali is also coming from Arsenal and Juventus, yet the former Milan player is not contemplating a move away from Newcastle just yet.
