Totti on Gasperinis…

In Miami, Francesco Totti shared his thoughts with Sky Sport regarding various matters concerning Roma.

The former number 10 is in Florida participating in the World Legends Padel Tour, where he was honored as the best player of the Finals.

“It’s a nice accolade, but I would have preferred to win the tournament,” he remarked while reflecting on the award.

Last night, Roma faced a defeat against Napoli at the Olimpico, once again losing in a crucial matchup.

Totti shared his perspective on the current situation: “The season is still long. Roma has the potential to make an impact.”

He added, “Roma is a strong team, but there are other teams that are better equipped.”

Speaking about his connection with Daniele De Rossi, Totti said, “I still communicate with him frequently. I believe he has the ability to succeed at Genoa.”

When pressed for a comparison between coaches Antonio Conte and Claudio Ranieri, he stated, “They have different styles, but I think Ranieri has done exceptional work.”

With Gian Piero Gasperini expected to influence Roma’s aspirations, Totti expressed optimism: “His impact hasn’t fully manifested yet. If we’re performing well, it’s a positive sign. We’re not yet seeing the Roma we anticipated; let’s hope we can adopt the coach’s mindset.”

He wrapped up by identifying the standout player from Roma’s last season: “I have no doubt. I would say Svilar, although I may be biased. He earned us 10-15 points on his own. When you have a player like that, you have to take your hat off!”
