Toulouse FC has parted ways with Frank Magri this summer and could also lose Emersonn, who has attracted attention from newly promoted Premier League clubs Hull City and Ipswich Town. Bids have reportedly been made for the Brazilian forward, but no agreement has been reached yet.
Le TéFéCé is actively seeking a forward this summer, potentially more depending on Emersonn’s situation. According to a report from Sacha Tavolieri, the club is interested in Moroccan forward Tawfik Bentayeb (24). Currently with Union Touarga, Bentayeb gained recognition in France for his outstanding loan spell at ESTAC Troyes in Ligue 2, where he scored 18 goals in 28 matches, contributing to L’ESTAC’s promotion to Ligue 1 last season.
He also had a loan stint at Rodez AF, again in Ligue 2. While Toulouse is pursuing him, FC Basel has shown interest as well and has made a €2.8 million bid. Other clubs including Feyenoord and Saint-Gall are also competing for Bentayeb’s signature.
