Tranmere Rovers have announced the signing of midfielder James Plant from League One club Port Vale on an 18-month contract.
The 21-year-old has made 49 appearances for Vale across all competitions since his debut in 2022.
Plant has primarily spent the last two seasons on loan at Yeovil Town in the National League, where he featured in 33 matches, including 20 this season.
“I’m thrilled to have finalized the deal. I’ve known there was interest from the club for some time, so it’s great to see it come to fruition,” he stated.
