Belgian forward Leandro Trossard has made a move to Turkish club Besiktas, signing a three-year contract after departing from Arsenal.
The transfer fee for the 31-year-old is set at 18 million euros (£15.3 million), payable in six equal installments over three years, with an additional one-year option included in his contract.
On Tuesday, he received clearance to travel to Istanbul to complete a medical examination after both clubs agreed on the transfer terms.
Trossard was under contract at Arsenal until 2027, having arrived from Brighton for £21 million plus add-ons in January 2023.
During his time at Arsenal, he scored 36 goals and provided 34 assists across 174 matches, contributing to Mikel Arteta’s squad winning the Premier League title last season.
Trossard played a crucial role, starting in the Champions League final against Paris St-Germain and appearing in 21 league matches.
Additionally, he featured in all six games at this summer’s World Cup, scoring two goals as Belgium advanced to the quarter-finals before being eliminated by Spain.

Arsenal Looks to Acquire Club Brugge Forward Tzolis
In the wake of Trossard’s exit, Arsenal is set to intensify its pursuit of Club Brugge forward Christos Tzolis.
According to BBC Sport, the Gunners expressed interest in the Greek international in June and are now ready to pursue a deal.
Club Brugge is reportedly expecting an offer from Arsenal for Tzolis.
Sporting director Andrea Berta is working on this transfer following an observation of the 24-year-old by his assistant Maurizio Micheli during the Greek match against Sweden last month.
Tzolis might be available for around £30 million (35 million euros).
This potential transfer would be separate from Arsenal’s ongoing search for more high-profile attackers this summer.

The club has a long-standing interest in Atletico Madrid‘s Julian Alvarez, who remains the top target, though the possibility of securing a deal is uncertain, given the interest from both Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Another option for Arsenal is Morgan Rogers, who is the preferred choice for a versatile forward. Efforts to secure him are expected to ramp up once he concludes his participation at the World Cup with England.
If negotiations for Rogers falter, the club is eyeing Paris St-Germain’s Bradley Barcola as an alternative.
Lastly, Arsenal recruitment expert Micheli observed Georgian Under-21 international Andria Bartishvili play for Iberia 1999 against Flora in a recent Champions League qualifier, indicating the Gunners are increasing their efforts to land this young talent.
