Union Saint-Gilloise, a Belgian club, has secured the services of Hervé Koffi (29), the goalkeeper from RC Lens, on loan. Both teams have confirmed the move. The Burkina Faso international has joined the club for a one-year loan that includes an option to buy. This marks Koffi’s return to Belgium after previously making over 100 appearances for Mouscron and Charleroi.
Last season, Koffi was on loan at Angers SCO, a rival in Ligue 1, where he enjoyed a standout year with Les Scoïstes, achieving ten clean sheets. “I am very happy and proud to become a Union player today. I have faced this club several times and it always felt like a true family to me. I’m thrilled to finally be part of that family,” Koffi stated.
