Paolo Vanoli has finalized a contract termination with Torino, allowing him and his staff to sign with Fiorentina on Friday.
Following the dismissal of Stefano Pioli on Tuesday, the team played under caretaker manager Daniele Galloppa in the Conference League and suffered a 2-1 loss to Mainz 05 after leading 1-0.
Fiorentina Set to Welcome Vanoli
Vanoli became the leading candidate after initial discussions with Roberto D’Aversa fell through.
Despite some locker room calls for Raffaele Palladino’s return, the club has decided to move forward with Vanoli.
He has successfully negotiated the termination of his contract with Torino, which was concluded this evening.
Vanoli, along with his staff, will arrive in Florence to begin their roles with the Viola, signing a contract set to run until June 2026.
There is also an option for an additional year should Fiorentina be satisfied with his performance.
His first challenge will be against Genoa, who will also be debuting their new coach, Daniele De Rossi, this weekend.
