Ruben Amorim has made his way to Milan’s training facility, where he posed for photos alongside owner Gerry Cardinale as he embarks on his new role as head coach of the Rossoneri.
Amorim was appointed as Milan’s new head coach on a two-year contract in mid-June, succeeding Massimiliano Allegri. Allegri was let go along with sporting director Igli Tare, technical director Geoffrey Moncada, and CEO Giorgio Furlani the day after the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.

Amorim arrived in Italy on Monday and spent his first afternoon at Milanello, the club’s training ground, on Tuesday.
He was spotted at the training center on Tuesday afternoon, where he and Cardinale posed for photographs in front of reporters before entering to start preparations for the 2026-27 season.
“I’m truly excited to be here; it’s a privilege to coach Milan,” Amorim stated in an interview upon his arrival in Italy.

“This is a significant challenge. After my last position, I had promised myself to take on something smaller, but this is even bigger. I’m proud and eager to collaborate with my players and staff, and I am genuinely thrilled to be here. My goal in Milan? To win, of course. If you’re going to coach Milan, winning is essential.”
