Vlahovic and Juventus…

Dusan Vlahovic held a meeting with Juventus officials today, during which both parties showed a willingness to discuss a new contract.

Currently, the striker’s contract with the Turin club expires on June 30, allowing him the opportunity to negotiate with other teams in Italy and abroad, potentially becoming a free agent in July.

Despite last summer’s attempts to offload him, the Serbian striker remains committed to the Bianconeri.

His future was somewhat sidelined due to a serious injury, but he is on his way back and prioritized a crucial meeting with the Juventus hierarchy today.

Reports from sources like Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia, and La Gazzetta dello Sport confirm that the discussions were very encouraging, with both Vlahovic and Juventus keen on reaching an agreement for a new contract.

However, this new arrangement would necessitate a significant salary reduction from his previous contract, which was estimated at around €12 million annually, marking a step in the right direction nonetheless.

Vlahovic, 26, has had a productive season thus far, contributing six goals and two assists in 17 appearances across all competitions.
