We Were Only a Final Pass Away

James Morrison, the interim manager of West Bromwich Albion, addressed BBC Radio WM after the team’s 0-0 stalemate with Millwall.

“Millwall had the upper hand for the first 30 minutes,” he remarked.

“We needed to make some adjustments at halftime, and I felt that in the second half we were the stronger side, creating more chances and successfully keeping them away from our goal.”

“We were just missing that final pass tonight—the right shot or the correct decision on the pass. The key moment came when their goalkeeper, Anthony Patterson, made an excellent save, so overall, I think a draw is a fair result.”
