We sought your opinions on how much Spurs have felt the absence of injured winger Dejan Kulusevski this season.
Here’s what you had to say:
Chris: Enormously. He’s arguably our standout player, alongside Maddison, when both are healthy. The heart of our midfield feels lost without him. Additionally, Kulusevski’s versatility in multiple positions is invaluable. His commitment is always 110%, which is more than can be said for many in the current starting XI.

Andrew: His absence has been significant—possibly our biggest setback. He served as a crucial “outlet” player, possessing strength, power, speed, and an instinct to shoot from distance. I hope he returns close to his best form, but I have my doubts.
Hec: We’ve missed both him and Maddison tremendously. There’s been a complete lack of creativity. Furthermore, poor management decisions concerning team selection and tactics have significantly impacted our performance. The silence from N17 is alarming. Does this indicate Tudor is staying on? I sincerely hope not!
Tom: Of our top five goalscorers last season, we’ve lost four: Johnson (18), Maddison (12), Son (11), and Kulusevski (10), while Solanke (16) was sidelined for half the season. A team can’t cope after losing so many attackers without proper replacements.
Andy: We’ve certainly missed Kulusevski, primarily due to the overall lack of quality within the squad. Interestingly, we haven’t suffered as much as anticipated since Kudus stepped up as a right-sided attacker—until he got injured as well! However, in Maddison’s absence, Kulusevski could have filled the number 10 role—his second position. Ultimately, the player we’ve missed the most is still Maddison.
