Senne Lammens (Manchester United): I was initially inclined to select David Raya, but I believe that one good save isn’t enough for Team of the Week. Lammens made several excellent saves against Newcastle while managing his area well, providing Manchester United with a solid foundation — something they’ve lacked in the past. All that for £18m is impressive.

Declan Rice (Arsenal): In the recent match between Arsenal and Brighton, Rice effectively filled in at right-back. Despite his position, he was highly influential, pushing forward and maintaining defensive solidity without allowing any Brighton player to get past him.

Archie Gray (Tottenham): This choice may be a bit controversial, but I’m including him. While he played in midfield against Crystal Palace, he deserves a spot because he scored the winning goal and has excelled in various positions for Spurs, whether left-back, right-back, or right wing. He’s earned his place.

Kevin Danso (Tottenham): Initially, he was expected to be a squad player, but every time Danso is called upon, he shines. He consistently fulfills his role and delivers top-notch performances.

Lisandro Martinez (Manchester United): Standing at only 5ft7 or 5ft8, he effectively handled Nick Woltemade throughout the match. It’s great to see him back in action after a significant injury, as his return is crucial not only for Manchester United but also for his World Cup hopes.

Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool): His impact on games is straightforward: when he performs well, Liverpool tends to excel as a team. He scored against a Wolves side that needed breaking down, showcasing his finishing ability, and his contribution was pivotal.

Tijjani Reijnders (Manchester City): This was possibly his standout performance since the season opener against Wolves, not just for scoring but also for his overall influence. He’s starting to reveal the talent we saw at AC Milan, and I have high hopes for him.

Florian Wirtz (Liverpool): His goal against Wolves (likely among the weaker teams in Premier League history) demonstrates his progress. The absence of stars like Mohamed Salah and Alexander Isak might have allowed him to step up and showcase his potential.

Rayan Cherki (Manchester City): In my opinion, he’s the most entertaining player in world football right now. His willingness to take risks and confidence with the ball are admirable. Despite the occasional mistake, he keeps trying, finishing the weekend with a goal and an assist. In my view, he’s the most thrilling player to watch lately, even more than rising stars like Lamine Yamal.

Kevin Schade (Brentford): Scoring a hat-trick undeniably secures him a spot in the Team of the Week. It’s that simple. I almost considered Keith Andrews as Manager of the Week for his efforts.

Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa): Typically, we reserve spots for players who start matches, but we’ve made an exception this time. His remarkable second-half performance against Chelsea warrants his inclusion.

Unai Emery (Aston Villa): His coaching has led to an incredible eleven consecutive wins. He tactically excelled in the second half, and his in-game adjustments, especially the introduction of Ollie Watkins, illustrate the high level at which he is operating.

He outsmarted Enzo Maresca, widely regarded as a top coach, demonstrating his own capabilities and potential as a coach.
