Oumar Solet has ascended to the forefront of Inter’s transfer targets this summer due to his versatility as a defender for Udinese, and a significant hurdle has now been cleared.
His name has been on Inter’s radar for several months, essentially since he joined Udinese as a free agent in January 2025.

Solet’s adaptability makes him the top choice for Cristian Chivu’s defensive lineup.
It’s reported that personal terms with Inter have already been agreed upon for a contract through June 2031.

Udinese is reportedly asking for €25 million for Solet, although this price could potentially decrease with the inclusion of a youth player from Inter in the deal.
Additionally, there is a chance for a loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season, which would help facilitate the transfer financially.
However, a recent development has influenced the situation that had previously made the Nerazzurri cautious. In May 2025, Solet faced allegations of sexual assault from a woman who attended a party at his home in Udine.
The investigation had been looming over him, but recently, the authorities closed the case.
