The Azteca has also hosted iconic World Cup finals: Brazil’s 4-1 victory over Italy in 1970, highlighted by Carlos Alberto’s unforgettable team goal, and Argentina’s extra-time triumph over the Netherlands in 1986, where Mario Kempes scored twice.

Each Mexico and Canada will host 13 matches, while the United States will hold 78. Starting from the quarter-finals, all subsequent matches will take place in the U.S., culminating in the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
