Wrexham Concludes…

Wrexham wrapped up their pre-season with a 1-0 loss to Sunderland in Philadelphia.

The match’s sole goal was scored by Nordi Mukiele, who found the bottom corner shortly before the half-hour mark, assisted by Brian Brobbey‘s clever hold-up play.

Wrexham thought they had equalized when Kieffer Moore scored shortly after, but the goal was disallowed for offside. The team’s performance waned in the second half, resulting in a second consecutive 1-0 defeat, following a loss to Liverpool in New York.

The end of this tournament marks a disappointing conclusion to an otherwise solid pre-season for Wrexham, who started with a goalless draw against Wisla Krakow in Poland and then achieved a notable 1-0 victory over Manchester United in Sweden.
