Wycombe Secure Loan Deal…

Wycombe Wanderers have secured the signing of highly rated striker Nathan Lowe on loan from Stoke City for the remainder of the season.

The 20-year-old initially joined Stockport on a season-long loan, where he netted seven goals in 26 matches. However, after suffering a leg injury in late December, he returned to Stoke at the beginning of the month.

Despite his injury setback, Wycombe, currently sitting eighth in League One, are optimistic that Lowe can make a significant impact once he regains full fitness.

Last season, Lowe had an impressive loan stint at Walsall, where he scored 15 goals in 22 league appearances and was recognized as the League Two Young Player of the Year.

“He’s an immensely talented striker, and we believe he can play a crucial role for us as we head into the critical phase of the season,” said Tom Stockwell, Wycombe’s director of football strategy and data intelligence, as reported on the club’s website.
