Supporters of Bayern Munich threw plastic cups and a lighter at Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele during the Champions League semi-finals at the Allianz Arena.
After scoring earlier in the match, the reigning Ballon d’Or winner Dembele was preparing to take a corner kick in the 34th minute when he was targeted by flying objects from the Bayern fans, including a red cigarette lighter and plastic cups, prompting him to walk away from the corner.
Although the lighter did not strike the 28-year-old, he picked it up off the ground and presented it to referee João Pinheiro, who then passed it to the fourth official for further action.

Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer rushed to the Bayern supporters, urging them to stop throwing objects and signaling that he wanted to avoid wasting time as they sought to turn around the scoreline.
At that moment, PSG was ahead 1-0 on the night and 6-4 on aggregate, with Dembele having opened the scoring just three minutes into the game in Munich, finishing off a setup by Khivcha Kvaratskhelia after a brilliant pass from Fabian Ruiz.

Bayern eventually scored through Harry Kane in injury time, but the team drew the match 1-1 while losing 6-5 on aggregate.
The first leg was marked as one of the great matches in Champions League history, featuring the highest number of goals in a semi-final, with Dembele scoring twice in PSG’s enthralling 5-4 victory.
PSG will meet Arsenal in the Champions League final in Budapest later this month after Mikel Arteta’s team edged past Atletico Madrid with a 2-1 aggregate score in the other semi-final.
