Alejandro Garnacho will not be donning the Chelsea jersey next season.
The Argentine winger has been excluded from new manager Xabi Alonso’s plans, who clarified during his introductory press conference that he will not be pursuing the 2004-born talent.

Alonso stated, “Several clubs are interested in him,” with Roma being a notable contender.
The Giallorossi are looking to acquire the former Manchester United winger to bolster Gian Piero Gasperini’s attacking squad.
Currently, however, Chelsea’s pricing demands are considerable for the Roman outfit, which is seeking to negotiate a more favorable deal with the English side.
“I hope this situation resolves positively for all parties,” Alonso remarked, further confirming that a return to Chelsea for Garnacho is off the table.
According to Fabrizio Romano, despite Chelsea’s steep demands, Roma is persevering in negotiations. The Argentine is keen on a move to the Italian capital, but an agreement on the terms will be essential.

Chelsea remains optimistic that other clubs will be willing to meet their financial expectations. Roma is aiming to settle on a deal centered around a loan with an obligation to buy, a situation that will be closely monitored.
